Lesson Booking and Service Structure

DRIVEx is a technology platform that connects students with independent community driving tutors who provide real-world, supplemental driving practice.

DRIVEx does not replace state-required driver education programs and does not issue certification for licensing.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

We respect your time and our tutors’ time. To maintain reliability across the platform, the following policies apply:

• Free Rescheduling: Lessons may be rescheduled at no cost if changes are made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled start time

• Late Changes: Changes made within 24 hours of the lesson may be subject to a partial or full session charge

• No-Show Policy: If a student does not arrive or is unavailable at the scheduled time, the lesson will be marked as a no-show and is non-refundable

• Tutor Delays or Cancellations: If a tutor cancels or is late, you will be offered a full reschedule or credit

Arrival, Readiness, and Safety Requirements

To ensure a safe and productive lesson:

• Students must be on time and ready at the scheduled pickup location
• Students must meet all legal eligibility requirements for driving practice in their state
• Students must follow all tutor instructions and safety guidance during the session

Tutors reserve the right to end or refuse a session if safety concerns arise, including but not limited to unsafe behavior, impairment, or non-compliance.

Vehicle and Lesson Conditions

• Lessons are conducted in a privately owned vehicle operated by the community driving tutor
• Vehicles must meet DRIVEx platform safety and insurance requirements
• Lessons are focused on real-world driving experience, including local roads, traffic conditions, and everyday driving scenarios

Payments and Refunds

• All payments are processed securely through the DRIVEx platform
• Pricing is displayed clearly before booking
• Refunds are issued only in accordance with the cancellation policy above
• Promotional credits, discounts, or third-party incentives may have separate terms

Service Scope and Legal Positioning

DRIVEx provides access to supplemental driving practice only.
 

• We do not issue driving certifications
• We do not guarantee licensing outcomes
• We do not replace state-approved driver education programs

Students are responsible for completing any required state licensing steps independently.

User Conduct

By booking a lesson, you agree to:

• Treat tutors with respect and professionalism
• Follow all traffic laws and safety instructions
• Provide accurate personal and eligibility information

Violation of these standards may result in account suspension or removal from the platform.
